ABOUT Jimi... Jimi Lee is a smokin’ harmonica player, award-winning songwriter and performer. His dynamic vocals and searing harmonica solos have been turning heads for quite a while earning him great reviews and ‘pre-legendary’ status in the Austin music scene. Over the years, Jimi has ignited stages alongside giants such as Muddy Waters, Bobby Blue Bland, John Lee Hooker, Willie Nelson, Clarence Clemons, Stephen Stills, Coco Montoya, Pinetop Perkins, Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, Kim Wilson, Mark Hummel, Jason Ricci, and Chicago’s own “shuffle master” Sam Lay.

ABOUT MICHAEL...I teach both chromatic and diatonic (with overblows if requested). I live in Austin but have students across the states via phone and webcam. I teach all styles and levels and specialize in beginners. I have played with many people including on Broadway in the Tony nominated "The Civil War" and with such luminaries as Ruthie Foster and Cyril Neville. I have taught privately for 20 years. I have taught at The University of Texas' Informal Classes for over a decade. I have taught at seminars such as at SPAH as part of Joe Filisko's mob, Jon Gindick's Harmonica Jam Camp, Jason Ricci's Rocking in the Rockies and The Kerrville Folk Festival Harmonica Workshop.
